I believe this was fixed later on in Legion and for good reason. Mechanically fine except that you really need to do something about Variss chasing you if he is interrupted with Avenger’s Shield. It takes too long to get him down without spending $$$ on the AH. ![]() Not much to add here and I would again say it comes to tuning, especially Kruul. BDK still lacks any impactful dps cooldowns and our sustained damage is mediocre. Kruul felt ok but again I think you need to take a look at tuning. ![]() With the horrendous mobility that DK has it’s still not trivial to deal with the eyes. Just dotting them takes forever and while blood boil is effective we also need to 2x BB Nether Horrors to kill them in reasonable time. Mechanically it’s ok but wit current tuning I honestly think you should remove the physical immunity on the eyes so it’s possible to use anything to kill them. Maybe bump up the re-cast intervall from 30 to 40 seconds so people still have to play the encounter properly but have a bit more time before the 4th and 5th cast, which in most cases is the end of the encounter.Īlmost as difficult for me as the Guardian challenge. Either nerf his HP a bit more or consider increasing the time between annihilates a bit so players have more time before the 4th cast. For most players this will still be impossible without cheesing the encounter with OP trinkets and consumables. The main thing here is still tuning, especially on Kruul. Mechanically I think the fight is fine now, especially with the change to Nether Horrors. This was incredibly difficult although some of the challenge was also re-learning the encounter as I did it first on my druid. I also played Guardian quite a bit in SL for obvious reasons, but my monk and warrior has barely done anything for years outside of leveling. Now keep in mind that my main is DK but I also have a fair amount of experience with DH and Paladin. In terms of overall difficulty I would rate it the following from hardest to easiest: The other tanks were in the 40-60 range, except Demon Hunter which was less than 10. On BDK it doesn’t really matter if you interrupt their cast, as it’s more about leading them away from Velen since they stand still while channeling. In addition to that the nerf to Nether Horrors cast being able to get interrupted right away instead of waiting for the channel helped, but that’s only a factor on 2/6 tanks as they do not cast at all on warrior, paladin and monk. ![]() I didn’t do any of these before the first round of nerfs, which I believe was a 10% HP nerf to Kruul and Nether Horror adds. The dps challenges on the other hand felt impossible to me with their current tuning, but I also realize in most cases it’s a skill issue because I rarely play dps. I just spend most of my time in WoW playing tanks, so it’s hard to say how this feels for someone who is new to any of the tanks. First of all I am not a top player by any means. So I finally finished up the last tank challenge on my Brewmaster and I thought I’d provide some feedback on the overall the experience.
